Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is tallow and why is it good for skin?
Answer:
Tallow is a nutrient-rich fat derived from grass-fed, grass-finished beef suet. It’s incredibly moisturizing and packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K — all of which help support healthy, glowing skin. Its composition closely matches human skin, making it deeply nourishing and easy to absorb.
2. Is your tallow organic?
Answer:
Yes! We only use 100% organic, grass-fed, grass-finished suet from trusted farms, along with organic oils and ingredients in every formula. No chemicals, no fillers — just pure goodness.
3. Do your products contain preservatives or synthetic ingredients?
Answer:
Nope. All of our products are made with clean, natural ingredients — no preservatives, artificial fragrances, or synthetics. Just real ingredients your skin will love.
4. Can I use your balm on sensitive skin or babies?
Answer:
Absolutely. Our tallow balm was originally created for sensitive baby skin, and we’ve heard amazing results from parents, eczema warriors, and people with dry or reactive skin.
5. How should I store my tallow balm?
Answer:
Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Tallow is shelf-stable, but during hot months you may want to keep it in a cooler space to maintain its texture.
6. Is this safe for acne-prone skin?
Answer:
Yes and no— many customers with acne-prone skin find tallow helps calm inflammation and rebalance the skin barrier.
Some customers with more oily prone skin say it can actually cause their skin to be more oily causing more breakouts. Just being honest, if you have oily skin, maybe don’t use it on your face.
7. Where do you ship from?
Answer:
We ship from Florida with care. Most orders go out within 1–3 business days.
Texture may change in summer months due to heat. If any melting occurs, just leave in a cool spot to harden.
8. Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
Answer:
Yes, we do! If you’re a boutique, wellness practitioner, or want to carry The Purely Company in your shop, reach out to us at ThePurelyCompany@yahoo.com for wholesale info.
9. How long do your products last?
Answer:
Our tallow balm typically lasts 12–18 months unopened and 6–12 months once opened — depending on how it's stored.
